As an artist I am interested in making work which focuses on exploring the process of healing and reflection through coupling experiences rooted in movement and memory. Using media such as painting, sculpture and textiles, I create work which often requires an extensive amount of time and emotional labour in order for growth to take place. It Left a Mark: Walking Wool, Salt and Sand, is a good example of the way I work, as the physical connection to walking is extended by the time spent rug hooking.
