Embodied Site is a site-specific work that makes use of 3 locations in Point Pleasant Park. Each site will encompass twenty 1”x2”x8’ lumber staked into the ground for a period of 5 weeks. The pieces are planted with enough distance between each so that the viewer can engage with the piece. The work emphasizes the impact that the weather and environment has on untreated wood placed in the park for a predetermined amount of time. This work relates to the embodiment of the environment. At the end of the 5 weeks, the structures will change and become a witness to its surroundings and will relay the environmental impact to its viewer.
