Centennial Relics is a media installation making use of the wooden vitrine kiosk located at the central entrance to Point Pleasant Park in Halifax (506 Tower Road). A small collection of vintage collectible items produced for the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Confederation has been placed on display within the vitrine, in addition to a 36” x 45” xerograph poster and take away tri-fold brochure containing an informal essay reflecting on the nature of Canadian iconography, nostalgia, and ephemeral media.
