Margaret Orr | Wapusk and Berries

I decided to portray a polar bear family walking in a field of cloudberries. At the top of the polar bears are some « ulus », which are Inuit knives. At the bottom of the polar bears are some eyeberry blossoms. I was inspired by embroidered Cree floral designs, hence the blossoms. Inuit and Cree people both live in the area of Wapusk National Park.
