This will be a video installation of a site specific dance choreography.
As a dance choreographer and performer I arrive at this site with presence, movement, engagement of relationship with the self, other, space and time. Within my artistic practice I create with the intention of provoking questions that foster hope.
Experience a performance by Aidan Thorne, a Cowichan Tribes member and half Dahkel, and I, a white settler colonial. I listen as Aidan speaks on the importance of forgiveness, gratitude and love. Our bodies dance in dialogue together, as individuals and with the history of the land.
